Dychosis

These guys are a death metal band and just mental to watch. A memorable specific was the terrifying death stare that the lead singer gave. There was also a death metal motif of an animal skull on his mic stand. The singer had ginger hair that in the red light made him look like he had set himself on fire through his rage. He is not singing sweetly at all, just pure anger. It was a very charismatic and the heaviest performance I have ever experienced. The rhythm takes over your whole body, you can’t stand still . Blame

You have to react and move to the music, the overwhelming sound. This was the first gig I would be alone at but once they started playing I didn’t care and was right at the front. The stage lighting kept flashing and Blame definitely did not have a white background. I found that I started to associate different colours with the different band members, most likely influenced by the position of the lights. I enjoy metal music and especially metal gigs even though I don't listen to it at home. I have been to watch my friend drum in this band a few times and particularly this time I was very impressed . I t was really nice being familiar with some of the songs and melodies. They have taught me the basics of the drums which enabled me to understand how damn good he is and it was amazing to watch. I had a few drinks with the band before the went on and it was really nice getting to know the band members. This made the gig feel more intimate and make the musicians feel closer on sta...
