Jellyskin
Almost surrounded by people because they were performing on the floor. As the pace of their songs picked up, people who were sitting down stood up. It was impossible to not bounce. The music engulfed the space and affected/consumed you. You were engulfed in an atmospheric purple haze.
The harmonies meshed so perfectly together. They were using vocals like they are instruments. She had a beautiful ethereal voice.
Their performance was very insular, they were completely concentrating on the music making, creating the music in time and space before your eyes. Each tune had so much variety and progression.
Waheela
They created a huge wall of sound. All members were facing away, with their back to the audience. This really made you listen and hear rather than watch and see. The drummer was the only one in the light which drew you to the rhythms. All the other members disappeared into the darkness.
Because they were facing the lights it made it seem like the sound from their guitars was creating the florescent pink lights.
There was lots and lots of distortion which also made you focus on the rhythm. The tunes weren't complex, it was mostly sustained noise. The music didn't ever build it, it was continuously eb and flowing.
Girl Sweat Pleasure Temple Ritual Band
They were complete madness!
Their stage presence was incredibly striking. It was very tribal with 4 drummers alluding to a cult where their heavy rhythms of the music was like a chant luring a spirit or something. Some of them were wearing red monk/handmaids tale robes which completely covered them, no embellishments. Others were only wearing boxers and sometimes a cape and they wore make up.

It was very repetitive, the whole 30min set was just one tune which rotated around 4 bars. It was extremely impressive. The singer was performing but the rest of the band's presence was the performance. There were 2 drummers facing each other, opposite and focused. There were also 2 drummers standing on the floor. Each drummer was playing something similar yet different but all completely in-sync, summoning. It was a prime example of force in numbers.
Cattle
They were absolutely in their sound, they were absorbed and their bodies were subconsciously responding. They were engulfed by the darkness, with the coloured light only bouncing off their silhuettes.
Their music went from nothing to everything in seconds, a complete drop into the noise. The drummers definitely needed their warm up, stretching routine! It was heavy techno punk. There was so much force and energy. They cleverly used 2 drummers for smooth progressions and texture as well as pure power. At one point the drums purred.
Every member was giving their 100% and was incredibly talented and important. The synth player was tickling the synth whilst grinning and bending about. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, encapsulating performance.
